Best Euro 2020 Qualifier Betting Tips

Euro 2020 is set to the biggest European football tournament ever, with 24 countries competing in 12 countries.

The upgraded tournament will be staged in venues across the European continent to coincide with the 60th anniversary of the first European championships in 1960. This is shaping up as the biggest international football event on the continent that created football.

With so many spots up for grabs, this year’s Euro qualifying is more interesting than ever. The top two countries from each of the 10 qualifying groups will be the first 20 participants at Euro 2020. The final four spots are reserved for winners of a follow-up tournament to the UEFA Nation’s League.

All the remaining group matches will be played in September, October, and November, with 20 of the 24 participants to be known by November 19 this year. Then, all we’ll have to look forward to is the Euro 2020 tournament itself, which will begin June 12 and end July 12 with the final at London’s Wembley Stadium.

The next group matches are still a couple of months away. Thankfully, fans can get in on all the action with Euro 2020 betting.

Euro 2020 Winner Betting

The best and most popular way to bet on Euro 2020 is to bet on the eventual winner. Qualifying is still in progress, but it’s not too early to get an early bet in on European champion. World Cup champions France and their arch rivals England are the two early favourites, but plenty could still change in the betting markets as qualifying draws to a close.

Euro 2020 Qualifiers Group Betting

In terms of upcoming games, the most interest is still around who qualifies. Betway Sports is among the top UK online bookmakers offering odds for the 10 group winners. Remember that two teams qualify from each group. Group winner odds are all about predicting which team finishes top of the group.

At the moment, Group H is shaping up as the toughest group to call. Euro 2020 favourites France are locked in a three-way battle with Turkey and Iceland, with all teams on 9 points after 4 games. Albania is also in contention with 6 points from 3 games. Betway is paying 1.11 for France to win, followed by Turkey, 6.00, Iceland, 11.00, and Albania, 101.00.

Another exciting group is Group C, where Northern Ireland have a surprise early lead over European powerhouses Germany and the Netherlands. Betway is paying 1.12 for Germany to ultimately win the group, followed by the Dutch on 4.00 and Northern Irish on 19.00.
