My name is Pete Woodward and I am an endurance racing fanatic based in Sussex, UK. I have raced on foot, on two wheels and in the water for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I have won county and regional titles in both running and triathlon and in 2021, I won the British Masters Trail Running Championships in my age group (men 35-40). 

I have qualified to race in the Great Britain Age Group team in the European Cross Triathlon Championships in Bilbao in September 2022 and am asking for help to get me to the start line. Cross triathlon is a rapidly growing off road version of the sport which includes an open water swim, a mountain bike race and an off-road run. 

I have worked as a beach lifeguard in Blackpool, am old enough to have raced mountain bikes since the sport was invented and have won cross country and trail running titles; I love this stuff and this version of the sport is almost tailor made for me! I am training to get to the start line in the shape of my life and race hard.
