Fife Thistle AFC has been a local team in the heart of Balmullo, Fife since 1994 and has not only provided the area of Fife a convivial and warm atmosphere to play football, but has also provided players the chance to develop and encourages the idea that youth is the key, providing many young players with the opportunity to play football for either the first team which play in the first division of the Fife Amateur Football League,or the second team who compete in the Dundee Saturday Morning football league.

The second team is one of the ideas that allow us to develop the youth at the club, by giving those on the cusp or with the ambitions to play for the first team, the valuable playing time they need to improve their performance and prove why they should be given a first team spot.

The aim of this project is to help the club update the changing facilities at the home ground and also to erect a new fence behind the bottom goalmouth, as this will help with stopping damage to local houses that are situated at that end of the pitch. We have to update our changing facilities due to damage caused by the ageing of the facility. The idea is to raise funds to provide the fencing and update the changing facilities. Due to these issues the club are having to play current home games away from home at a considerable cost and this is causing major issues financially as we are not always able to cover the cost.

The club is also struggling financially and it provides a very great opportunity to the locals to play football as well as those from the surrounding area and we are looking to return the club to our  home in Balmullo. This money will help to improve the pitch facilities as well as the changing rooms and provide some much needed funds to help keep the club running and the management of the A team, Colin Murray and Gary Kirk as well as the management of the B team, Ross Keracher, Nick Hallam and David Addison, thank you in advance for your support.

Any pledges will be greatly appreciated and we look forward to trying our best to keep our club running long term and returning to our home in Balmullo. And no amount is to small or insignificant as every penny counts towards our target.
