My name is George Peploe and I have been training in Kickboxing for 20 years. I have been British champion 3 times and hold the current title. I am a member of the WAKO GB squad and have competed in the European and world championships.
I have competed regularly on the national and international circuit for 10 years winning many titles and beating the world’s best fighters. I am determined to win and enjoy the excitement and pressure of competing.
It is a great honour to be in the squad to represent GB at the upcoming world championships in Hungary in November and I want to make the most of this great opportunity. This will require me to focus on training and preparation. All costs for training, travelling and competing including equipment and nutrition must be met by the competitors themselves.
I am looking for £1500 to cover these costs and would like give thanks in advance to everyone who helps me compete in the World Championships.
WAKO British Champion 2015, 16, 17
George competes in WAKO GB British championships every year and has many medal placings and in recent years has won the gold and is the current British champion.
Irish Open silver medal
The Irish open is the largest and most difficult tournament in the world to win or place in. In 2016 George fought through 10 rounds to reach the final where he narrowly lost to the current world champion. he has also reached the quarter finals in many weights including the Grand championship open weight, beating many top fighters on the way.
