JOURNEY TO REACH THE STARS
When I was 6 my prayer was to become a famous tennis player, but in my first match I didn’t win even a single point. Then I worked hard and I won my first National Tennis Tournament at the age of 8 (Powder Byrne National Final 8U 2013).
I became one of the youngest in the country to be given a passport to play in the under 12s category, despite being only 9 years old at that time, and I won a lot of County, Regional and National Tennis Tournaments.
In 2014 I was been invited to an Exhibition Game at Wimbledon during the Wimbledon Championships. It gave me the opportunity to meet tennis stars like Murray, Federer, Djokovic, Nadal and many more – I gained a lot of confidence in my tennis career.
I was then selected by the LTA to represent Team GB to play in France and my most recent achievement is winning the Winter National Tour Finals 10U in London last March 2016.
I’m now with the AEGON FUTURE STARS PROGRAM, run by the Lawn Tennis Association of UK. I train at Virgin Active Glamorgan 5 days per week and am attending the Regional and National Training Camp for my development, while also travelling the UK for tournaments and starting to compete in International Tournaments.
I just turn 11 in June. I know my journey has a long way still to go, but I don’t want to stop until I reach my dream. I want to improve my talent in tennis and play International Tennis Tournaments, and I want to ask you to be a part of that by helping me raise junior tennis sponsorship.
The only thing that I have right now are courage and faith. With your help I can ensure that I can make a massive improvement to my tennis career. Any contribution would make a huge difference and would be highly appreciated.
