First off, thank you for taking the time to view this page. The reason I set this up is because I have a few things going on this year. After discovering Mountain Biking a year and a half ago, I realised what I was missing out on. I have been on and off racing Motocross since I was 15 and that gave me the taste for the atmosphere of racing and the sheer buzz of pushing yourself to the limit.
When I started riding MTB my intention was to use it for fitness for Motocross, but then it quickly took over as my main focus.
My first race was the Cloon Downhill race in February of 2014. I entered the Sports category not really expecting much of a result. To my surprise I ended up winning my category and the feeling was amazing. I entered the Ticknock Biking Blitz XC race shortly after that which ended with another win for me in the Baggy Shorts category. I was hooked!
Anyway , I have a lot of work to do for 2015 if I want to keep the form up. I have been training very hard in the winter to increase my skills and fitness. I’ve upgraded my equipment too, though I had a tight budget on this so couldn’t go with the absolute best.
I have my calender marked out and it is looking pretty crammed. I am hoping to do all the races in both the Vitus Firstracks Enduro Cup and Gravity Enduro series. These series have already started and so far so good with a 1st in the Firstracks race 1 and a 2nd in the Gravity Enduro race 1.
I plan to do all the races in the Irish XC NPS in the S2 category. I have also entered for three rounds of the Enduro World Series. These rounds are international with some of the worlds best riders. The first of these races is in Ireland and the subsequent rounds are in Scotland and France. My goals are to compete and complete as best as I can and push myself as much a possible as a privateer.
Any help I can receive along the way will be hugely appreciated and will help no end. I will be funding most of the season myself and I’ll also be my own mechanic, but I’m not afraid of the hard work ahead and I am really looking forward to the experience.
Once again, thank you for reading through this and I hope I haven’t lost you along the way

A little update since the page has been set-up. Great weekend at the first round of the NPS. It was a very intense and tough course but I managed to come away with SECOND place in the S2 category. Just going to have to keep her lit!!!!
