Hi
My name is Fred Dinsmore. I am a 5-times European Wheelchair Pool Champion in 8, 9 and 10 Ball Pool. I am also a 3-time World Champion in Wheelchair Snooker and 9 Ball Wheelchair Pool.
I am asking for your support to enable me to continue to compete internationally as the Irish Sports Council do not fund non-Paralympic sports – this means I must pay all my own expenses.
In the coming months I will compete in 5 British BWPPA (British Wheelchair Pool Players Association) events starting in March and ending in November.
I will also travel to Austria in April to the European Pool Championships in 8 9 and 10 Ball Pool. This event is at the same time as the aAble Bodied European Championships. I also intend to compete in the World Pool Championships in Poland in May (event TBC).
In order to prepare for events I travel to Belgium to work with my coach Johny Vanrijkel – BPS (Belgium Pool School).
