Hi, I am a Charlotte Trenter, a 16-year-old show jumper. I live in Mayenne in France with my English parents.

Ever since I entered my first showjumping competition when I was 9, I have dreamt of winning the French championships and being selected to compete internationally throughout the world.

Over the years I have gradually moved up through the ranks and different heights, achieving many first places and getting a lot of recognition on the show jumping circuit. In the last six months, I have won competitions in Bonneval, Le Lion-d’Angers and Paris.

I have worked very hard as you can see in my video below and my family support me every way they can, paying to feed and look after my beautiful Soleil and driving me everywhere I need to go.

But if I am to get selected for International events I have to achieve regular placings in elite competitions at 130cm. I have to compete in at least 2 tournaments per month all over France. I have started but it is very, very expensive travelling the country and paying the entry fees and being coached for all the competitions and I really, really need your help with that.

The target I have set will allow me to compete for the rest of the year and get selected for the Salon du Cheval de Paris (Indoor Championships of France) in December.
