Climb to the Top of the Tennis Pro Tour

Hi, my name is Facundo Mena. Thank you for your interest in my campaign.

Tennis has been my passion and life since I was a little kid. My father is the reason why I am so close to the sport. He is a tennis coach in my home country Argentina. At a very early age, I enjoyed sharing the courts with him. It was a great way to share time with my dad and play our favorite sport together.

At the age of 12, I realized that I had reached an above average level of playing and wanted to dedicate myself full-time to the sport. I started playing local tournaments from inter-club to national competitions with great results.

At the age of 16, I reached #3 in the South American Tennis Ranking and at 18, I was #60 in the Junior World Tennis Ranking after participating in Roland Garros junior tennis tournament. I am now 22 and have reached top 500 in the ATP Singles Ranking.

I believe that the only way to climb to the top is by putting in your best effort and working hard every single day – train, learn, grow mentally and physically and then, compete and execute.

I have been training very hard in both Argentina and United States with my coach Guillermo Rivas, a former tennis player who made the top 100 of the World Tennis Ranking.

My technique has evolved rapidly and I have matured in the game tremendously. In the last 3 years, I won multiple singles and doubles titles in the South American ITF Futures competitions. I reached decisive instances in ATP Challenger Tour and ATP 250 events when competing in the United States. I am at the peak of my career right now.

I have been traveling across the American continent, competing in as many tournaments as I can, and trying to continue to build up my tennis career with only one goal in mind … getting to the top of the tennis pro tour world ranking.

As a tennis player, it is extremely hard to self-fund all the international travelling and lodging. This is where I would appreciate any contribution you could make to my dream. Your kindness would really make a big difference to my career and would go a long way to helping me realize my dreams.

Thank you for your support.
