The best tennis sites to follow

Tennis fans need to keep up to date with everything from their favourite players, tournaments, news and tennis gear.  The best way to do so is by going online, where you will literally find thousands of sites.  Lucky for you, we’ve been massive tennis fans for years so know the best places to go for every tennis need.   Depending on what you are looking for, there are a number of great apps and sites, we’ve picked the best below.

ATP Tour

The ATP tour is a great site for men tennis, it gives you everything you need to know about the mens tour including some of the best and up to date tennis news.  One thing we love about the ATP site is the live rankings, this gives you a great indication of the movers and shakers while tournament’s are being played.  The tennis calendar as well as upcoming tournament news is also very useful.

I guess the one downside of this one stop shop for mens’s tennis, is that you don’t get good opinion pieces of content like the 2023 grand slam favourites

WTA Tour

On the women’s tour you have the ATP site equivalent – https://www.wtatennis.com/ again this has nearly everything you need to know about players, tournaments and news.  And like the ATP, it’s an organisation so therefore offers you facts and up to date information but doesn’t offer news opinion or great tennis journalism.

ESPN

ESPN owned by Disney are a truly global site and probably the best for up to date US sports news, they are also very strong in tennis, and few apps are as detailed as the ESPN one. You get up-to-the-minute game scores, podcasts, live in play updates, breaking news, and so much more. You also have lot’s of live videos, highlight reels, and post-game stats if you have an ESPN subscription from a compatible cable company.  Rumour has it that they are close to doing a deal with DraftKings which would make their offering even better.

Prime Video

Prime have become very strong in the tennis streaming world, they have soaked up a lot of tennis tv rights in recent years.  The US Open has been the big one for Prime but they also have lots of other ATP and WTA events.  However rights deals changing all the time, we will have to update this in 2023 as a number of deals will be cancelled and others will be renewed.  But for the last few years, Prime Video have had by far the best tennis coverage among streaming companies.  Prime also offers lots of movies and TV series however is not quite as user friendly as some of it’s rivals.

PledgeSports

Of course we are going to mention ourselves!  Our tennis offering in it’s strongest form is trivia – from the history of tennis to the greatest player we cover a massive amount of tennis trivia.  We also cover all the big upcoming tournament’s like the Nitto ATP Finals, Grand Slam previews and predictions etc.  Coming up to any big tournament we will provide stats and history and more recently we are doing more analysis and listing our favourites and odds.

Tennis Nerd

This is a great site to follow if you like tennis gear, Jonas does really good racket reviews, as well as string and other gear reviews.  Also there’s lot’s of discussion about the latest developments and news in the tennis world via podcasts.  Tennis Nerd also has a great youtube channel.  For a one man show and a niche business, this site is well worth checking out.

DraftKings

In the USA and indeed most countries, tennis is either the second or third most popular sport to bet on.  With this in mind, sports books can offer a great live scoring and video streaming of tennis games.  And when it comes to betting we thing Drafkings have the best offering,  with some fantastic future prices, for example wagering on a wildcard to win a slam (+8000) or a qualifier to win (+10000)

DraftKings serves an ace with user rewards and promotions too. There are regular offers for new and existing customers on the Promos page.  Tennis bettors signing up to the sportsbook today can choose from some fantastic sign-up offers, like the welcome bonus of up to $1,000 when using the DraftKings bonus code.

Tennis Warehouse

We have to include a tennis shop here and Tennis Warehouse gets our vote.  It’s a global site and covers everything tennis as well as padel tennis more recently.  There are always plenty of deals to be had on the site.
