Thank you for visiting my page. This is a fundraising campaign to raise vital money for my Expedition that aims to support Meningitis Now and Macmillan Cancer Support.

I am a normal 24-year-old male, from South-East London. I have an undergraduate degree in Law from Swansea University and last year I passed the Bar (BPTC). Before I embark on a career as a Barrister, I want to doing something epic, and give back to two amazing charities which have supported friends, families, and thousands of others, whilst almost entirely relying on public donations.

Therefore, on the 1st  of April 2017, I am setting off from Trafalgar Square, to CYCLE, SOLO and UNSUPPORTED, over 17,000-mile, AROUND THE WORLD. That’s the equivalent of cycling to the International Space Station and back over 38 times. The journey will take anywhere between 9 and 12 months, with a target of 100 miles a day. During which, I will be camping and relying on the hospitality of others, relying on food found, donated and a small food budget.

My target is to raise £3,000 primarily towards a FOOD Budget. This will be the money I take with me on this epic journey to ensure that I don’t starve. In addition however, I still have a lot of expenses to cover, Visa’s, Travel insurance and some final equipment to secure. This expedition aims to inspire and prove that the ordinary individuals can achieve the extraordinary, whilst also aiming to raise funds and awareness for Meningitis Now and Macmillan Cancer Support.

I know how to ride a bike, and which way is forward, but that’s about it. I definitely wouldn’t describe myself as a cyclist of any sort really. I train each and every day, whether it’s an early morning long cycle, gym, run or a boxercise class.

This expedition, has been organised, planned and so far funded, solely by myself. With such an epic task at hand, comes a big expense. After securing a bike, the majority of flights, a tent, sleeping bag, GPS tracking, and minor equipment, there still remains vital travel expenses. I don’t yet even have the money for food whilst I’m am away! I have written and contacted hundreds of companies for their support with this venture, for myself and the charities. From donating inner tubes for the bike to clothing or even for a donation to the charities. Unfortunately, virtually none of these companies have offered any supported.

SO, I am looking for some amazing people to help support this Expedition, and in turn help support these amazing causes. Thank you in advance for reading this and contributing. I ask that you share this story with friends and family.
