Whitley Bay Barbarians are the ONLY Women and Girls Rugby League Team in the North East of England.

These girls have been playing since around the age of 10 and now as part of the Under 16’s team have the opportunity to tour Australia to develop their game even further. Successes so far include:

• being finalists in the 18/19 England school championship
• currently top of league in division 2 Rugby Football League Under 16 Girls.

This is the opportunity of a lifetime for these girls. They are fully committed to getting themselves there and currently have a number of fundraising activities arranged, including: supermarket bag packs, car washes, cake stalls and many more.
